UTRCA says minor flooding possible

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority says it’s keeping an eye on local streams and rivers.

The agency is expecting some minor runoff thanks to the rain and water levels are already elevated thanks to the melting snow. The UTRCA says some minor flooding in low lying areas is possible, but higher flows could happen if we get thunderstorms.

As usual people are being reminded to stay cautious around area waterways and to keep pets and children away from them.
