Beehler, Robert

Robert Lee Beehler, age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Greenwood Court (Stratford). Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, son of the late Harry and Jessie (Near) Beehler. Survived by his wife Rosemary (Beaverson) (Near) Beehler. Father of Lois (Dan) Young, Janet (Alfred) Beam, Brice Beehler and daughter-in-law Sue Beehler, Lucille (Murray) Schneider and Emilie Dasch. Grandfather of Rob (Katie), Julie (Jon), Mark (Miranda), Jonathan (Elizabeth), Erica, Taryn (fiancé Chad), Larkyn and great grandfather of 16 great granddaughters. Robert is survived by his brother Willis Beehler and his sister Grace Roth.  Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his first wife the former Jessie Wilhelm (1971), son Brian Beehler, sisters-in-law Cora Beehler and Eileen Turner, and brothers-in-law Donald Roth, Harvey, Jon, James, Marian Beaverson and Jerry Turner. Family and friends may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 4 at North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church 1993 Perth Line 43 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church Cemetery.
