Shinkle, Margaret

Margaret Shinkle passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday April 3, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona.  Margaret was born July 2, 1935 in Four Corners, Ontario.

Cherished mother of Gilbert and Christine Shinkle, Rebecca and Michael Christensen.  Loving grandmother of David Whitton, Christopher and Erin Whitton, Sergeant James Patrick Christensen, Petty Officer Second Class Rickie Lee Shinkle, Corisa Christensen and Miranda Christensen.  Great grandmother of Joshua Whitton, Courtney Whitton, Noah Whitton, Jackson Whitton and Kylie Whitton.  Great great grandmother of Oliver Burnham.  Loving sister of Gordon and Elsie Hulley, Gladys and Doug Haldenby, Lawrence and Joan Hulley, Warren and Sharon Hulley and sister-in-law of Nancy Hulley.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Margaret has left us to join her beloved husband Donald Shinkle, her eldest daughter Debra Whitton, her loving parents Jack and Margaret Hulley, her brothers Robert and Norman Hulley and her great nephew Kasey Pestell.

Visitation at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Friday May 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at MonktonUnitedChurch on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.  Spring interment in ElmaCentreCemetery, Atwood.

As per Margaret’s request, memorial donations to the Meningitis Research Foundation of Canada in honour of Kasey Pestell appreciated.  www.brennemanfuneralhome.ca
