Eidt, Norma Marie

Passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford.  Norma resided in Baden, Ontario and was born 80 years ago in Woodstock, Ontario.  She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Facey and former Henrietta Carter.

Loving wife of the late Delton William John Eidt who predeceased her July 21, 2001.  Cherished mother of Alvin and Donna Eidt of Baden, Duane and Ashley Eidt of Stratford.  Forever missed by her grandchildren; Chad and Jill, Tim and Amanda, Ryan and Healy, Jennifer and friend Terry, Meghan, Bethany and Justine.  Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren; Savannah, Billie, Abigail, Wyatt, Alex, Tanner and Lilly. Dear sister of Ron & Jeanne Facey of Innerkip and will be missed by her son-in-law Doug Walker, nieces, nephews and friends.  Norma was predeceased by her son Gary, her daughter Dianne, sister Catherine and her brother Kenneth in infancy.

Norma was a member of the Wellesley Alliance Church.  Norma kept herself busy in her years as being a member of Eastern Star Kitchener Patricia Chapel #22, she was a former member of the New Hamburg Womens Institute, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 532, Ladies Auxilliary, volunteered her time with the Mennonite Central Committee and enjoyed the shuffle board group at the Murf.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday March 30, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 6-9 p.m.  The funeral service will take place at the Wellesley Alliance Church on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd officiating.  Interment in Lingelbach Cemetery.   As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Kids Ability (Kitchener), Ronald McDonald House or a charity of ones choice
