Nowack, Esther

Esther Annie Nowack, age 92, passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, RR 5 Mitchell on Wednesday April 16, 2014.

Born in Ellice Township, daughter of the late Gustave and Minnie (Koops) Mielke. Esther and her husband Clayton farmed at Lot 13, Con 3, moving to Sebringville in 1972. Esther had a wonderful “green thumb” and always enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens. She was a member of 1st St. John’s Lutheran Church, Seebachs Hill.

Beloved wife of the late Clayton Nowack who predeceased her on October 7, 2002. Loving mother of Jack Nowack and wife Christine, Paul Nowack and wife Helen and Earl Nowack and wife Ann. Cherished grandmother of Heather De Young (Craig), Carolyn Bos (Richard), Scott Nowack (Shannon) and Todd Nowack (Kim). Great grandmother of Brooke, Brayden, Ryan, Blake and Adelaine.

Dear sister of Arthur Mielke (Mabel), Fred Mielke (Dorothy) and Florence Priestap.

Also survived by sister-in-law Shirley Nowack and many nieces, nephews and their children.

Predeceased by daughter Evelyn in infancy, brothers; Walter Mielke (Edna), Albert Mielke, sisters; Alma Doell (Lawrence) Martha Brickman (Clarence), Mary Diegel (Wilfred), Dorothy Nowack (Richard), brother-in-law Harvey Priestap.

Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Saturday April 19th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. William Kramer will officiate. Reception to follow. Interment will be in 1st St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Seebachs Hill.
