U17/18 Girls Stratford Strikers Return from Europe Tournament

The under 17 Stratford Strikers girls’ soccer team has returned from Italy with more than just a few games under their belt.

The team’s travel assistant Lynda Sauve says aside from playing some of the best teams from around the world, the trip has been a cultural experience for the girls.

Sauve says the girls dropped their one of their finals’ games but had a stellar tournament all-around.

She says the team is able to take trips like these to Europe and abroad thanks to the support of the community.

The Strikers placed second in their division and third overall in the San Marino Cup.
