Library Close to Fundraising Goal for Modern Interactive Space

The Stratford Public Library is inching closer to its fundraising goal needed to bring a more interactive program to its shelves.

The campaign’s chair, Katie DeBlock Boersma says the plan is to bring in what’s called a Makerspace into the library.

She says the campaign’s goal is $300,000, with it already seeing a great deal of local support.

Rheo Thompson Chocolates in Stratford will be pitching in on a donor matching day on Friday from 10:30am to 4:30pm, as staff from the library will be out front collecting donations.
