Voting Opened for Aviva Community Fund Ideas

You have a week to vote on local charitable organizations, groups or events through the Aviva Community fund, with some of the 500-plus entrees right here in Perth County.

The insurance company says it’s the eighth year of the program, which will see one-million dollars of funding going towards the best submitted ideas.

There are three levels of funding, ranging from small ideas at $50,000, large up to $100,000 and a top prize of $150,000.

If your idea plays into community development, health, resilience or legacy you could qualify.

The insurer says since 2009 around $7.5 million has gone to more than 250 ideas across the country.

You can vote here.
