Skinner supports provincial budget

Stewart Skinner is standing by the budget.

The Perth-Wellington Liberal candidate says it’s a fair and balanced approach to managing the entire economy.

He believes there’s a good chance it will pass.

Skinner says Tim Hudak and Randy Pettapiece were going to vote against the budget anway regardless of what was in it.

He says politicians should at least read a document first before deciding which way they’re going to vote.

Several large labour groups, including the Unifor union and the Ontario Federation of Labour, urged the NDP to pass the budget.

If Andrea Horwath votes against it, it would trigger a spring vote.
