Residents have weighed in as part of the second open house held by the City of Stratford on the draft master plan for the Cooper Block.
Draft materials for a Grand Trunk Community Centre, the possible expansion of the University of Waterloo’s campus and a portion of the Downie Street transit terminal continuing the ongoing discussion which began nearly a year ago on the site.
City staff have been working on picking a final location for the transit hub, how it could impact Downie Street along with other variables.
The city says with the public’s input it’s expected to have a report completed with direction on what decision to move on by council around January or February of next year.
