People living in Stratford could see their water and sewer bills go up about four per cent. The increase would see the average household’s water bill go up to about 310 dollars each year and the average sewer bill would be about 470 dollars annually. The increases to Stratford’s fixed monthly water rate and the sanitary sewer rate were approved this week by a standing committee and need to go to council for final approval. The rate increases would help cover capital projects and operating costs.
