Hitman Phone and E-mail Scam Reported in Middlesex County

The Middlesex County OPP says it’s investigating a report of what it calls a ‘Hitman’ scam.

Police say a concerned resident reported someone called them threatening they would hurt the resident unless they paid them.

The resident says they were also sent email says someone had been hired to carry out the ‘operation’.
