Snow Squall Warning Issued

Parts of Perth and Huron County could see anywhere from 10 to 15 centimetres of snow today as Environment Canada has upgraded its weather statement to a Snow Squall Warning.

The national forecaster says driving will be hazardous with near white-out conditions expected in spurts as squalls move through the region due to lake effect snow.

Drivers, you can expect to go from clear skies to low visibility quickly and should always check your speed while on the road and forecast before heading out today.

Parts of northern Huron County, such as Wingham and Blyth are expected to see upwards of 15 centimetres of snow today.
