Jean Freriks, 95, formerly of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Freriks. Dear mother of Henry Freriks and Mary, Anita Giagnocavo and Greg, Mary Barton, Maggie Veltheer, John Freriks and Barb, Lucy Greenhow and Andrew, Trisha Zanin and John. Loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mies Kolkman and Bert, Tonnie Blom, Hein Poppe, Marie Ten Have, Gerard Poppe, Louis Poppe and Anton Poppe. Dear sister-in-law of Annie Poppe.

Predeceased by son-in-law Bob Veltheer, grandson Robbie and great granddaughter Natasha.

Visitation at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dublin on Thursday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell. Memorial donatons to Home on the Hill or Autism Ontario – London would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
