Veronica Price

Veronica Frances Price, age 78, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 1, 2018 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in Seaforth, daughter of the late Joseph and Loretto (Delaney) Shea.

Best friend and true love of 52 years to her husband Charles A. Price. Beloved mother of Lucille (Mark) Stuckless, Stephen (Teresa) Price, Maureen (Grant) Ross and Karen (Dwayne) Goforth. Proud grandmother of Samuel, Benjamin (Mikayla), Daniel, Rebekah, Sarah, Lauren, Megan, David, Eric, Nadine, Shealyn and Katie. Survived by her sister Mary (Karl) Regier and Irene Kelly and brother-in-law Jerry Lassaline.

Besides her parents, Veronica was predeceased by her siblings; Teresa Lassaline and Jim Shea along with a brother-in-law Don Kelly. Veronica volunteered for over 50 years in the community, she was a proud and faithful member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the Catholic Women’s League.

Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, February 5, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Father Dick Bester – celebrant. A reception will be held in the Parish Hall following the interment at Avondale Cemetery.
