The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is reporting the high volumes of patients come through its emergency rooms is showing signs of letting up.
Both counties have been dealing with flu patients, especially in the alliance’s Huron hospitals.
But with the holiday influx now over and cases of flu dropping, hospitals are seeing fewer respiratory infections.
HPHA CEO Andrew Williams says this gives staff a break to examine the last few months and continue to work with community partners.
