Woodstock Police Make Arrest in Fentanyl Case

Last Thursday, the Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit concluded an investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl.    As a result of the investigation, one male was arrested and charged, and a search warrant executed at a location east of Woodstock.   A 32-year-old man from Woodstock, has been charged with Possession of Controlled Substances for the Purpose of Trafficking, Fail to Comply with a Recognizance of Bail, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.   The investigation resulted in the seizure of fentanyl, heroin, prescription narcotics and Canadian currency with a combined street value of approximately $2700.00.
