RUTH O’DONNELL

Ruth O’Donnell, 86, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Norman “Sue” O’Donnell. Dear mother of Jamie O’Donnell and Darlene, Jeff O’Donnell and Patty. Loving grandmother of Amy Bromfield and Scott, Jason O’Donnell and Kim, Renee O’Donnell, Alexandra O’Donnell and Jeff. Cherished great grandmother of Parker, Isla and Harper. Dear sister of Lenore Tompkins (Ken), Wilma Meyerhofer, Isabel Heidt (Ivan), Kathleen Strathdee (Rae) and Ken Balzer (Sue). Dear sister-in-law of Mary Balzer, Peg Walkom, Verna O’Donnell and Vanda O’Donnell.

Predeceased by a daughter Joanne O’Donnell, grandson Nikki O’Donnell, brother Glen Balzer, sister Marion Soper (Don), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lewis O’Donnell, Bruce O’Donnell, Kay Norman (Cliff), Sheila Dewing (Bob), Carol Walkom (James), Bill Meyerhofer and Bill Blanchard.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Main St. United Church would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
