Diehl, Mabel

Passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the age of 84 years. She was born in Maynooth, Ontario a daughter of the late Henry Marquardt and former Annie Kunhardt.

Loving wife of the late Lloyd A. Diehl. Dear mother of Irene Partridge of RR#1 Brunner, Lloyd Diehl Jr (Brenda) of Shakespeare, and Rick Diehl of RR#2 Milverton. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Virginia, Heather (Adam), Ryan, Michael (Tanya), Dan (Marg), Pamela (CJ)

and Ethan; and her great-grandchildren Tuesday and Danika.

Dear sister of Alma MacDonald of Bancroft, Irene Gary and Rudolph Marquardt (Isabel), all of Mitchell. She was predeceased by her daughter Shirley & husband Jake Neeb, son Murray Diehl and son-in-law Ronald Partridge, brothers Gordon Marquardt & Emmerson Marquardt and sister Gertie Baragar.

Mabel was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton. She loved cooking and baking, gardening and making tied quilts.

Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. On Friday, May 16, 2014 transfer will be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.. Pastor Karen Kuhnert officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
