A familiar face is hoping to return to the top in St. Marys.
Incumbent Mayor Al Strathdee has announced that he will be running to reclaim the position in the Municipal Election set for October.
Strathdee has served one term as Mayor and says council has developed a strategic plan for moving the town forward which focuses of six key pillars: Infrastructure, Communication and Marketing, Balanced Growth, Culture and Recreation, Economic Development and Housing.
He says goals he has set if reelected include improving trails and nature, improving internet access with fiber and increasing tourism.
So far, no one else has entered the race to oppose Strathdee for the position with the election scheduled for October 22nd.
