The 18th season for Stratford Summer Music is slowly winding down.
The festival began in mid-July and by the time it wraps up with its annual fireworks Sunday night over 100 events and performances featuring 350 artists will have taken place.
This is John Miller’s last season as Musical Director of the festival as he makes way for Canadian violinist and Juno Award winner Mark Fewer to take over the role.
Miller says the last weekend of the festival features some of the most popular performers.
“Well you know the two most requested groups in 18 years, the Langley Ukuleles are in town and so are the Mzansi Choir members.”
The fireworks will close the festival Sunday evening after 9 o’clock at Lower Queens Park.
