Just when we thought summer was winding down, the temperature is set to soar.
With a high of 31 in the forecast for Monday, with the humidex making it feel like 41, Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for our area.
They say a hot and humid air mass is forecast to reach the area Monday and remain in place until Wednesday.
Overnight temperatures, according to the weather agency, will see a low of around 20 degrees meaning we wont see much of a break.
Risks from the heat are greater for groups including young children, pregnant women, and older adults.
