The Stratford Legion is set to hold the official opening at their new location.
The new location is located on Ontario Street, behind the A&W, and it’s a 5,500 square foot building that used to be home to an auto repair shop.
It has a capacity of around 100 people and can be used for events like weddings and birthday parties.
Stratford Legion President Dale Bast says there will be several events to mark the official opening.
“We have three different days of activities culminating on Sunday with the official ribbon cutting and the legion dignitaries and politicians will be there.”
Bast adds the building is available for use to any service clubs that want to hold meetings in it.
