A 44-year-old father of two in Stratford is now $500 thousand richer.

Paul Kneitl claimed the top prize in the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s Instant $500 thousand Fortune game.

He says in a press release that he plays the game periodically and he was in shock when he found out that he had won.

As for what his winnings will go towards, Kneitl says he plans on spending some on home renovations and to purchase a new car.

The game is available for $10 a play and the odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.

He purchased the winning ticket at Mac’s on Graff Avenue in Stratford.
