A dog biting incident in Mitchell has lead to an investigation.
According to the Perth District Health Unit, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. last Thursday in Lions Park, near the end of the park area by the river.
They say the dog was running off leash with a man who identified himself as related to the owner with the dog described as a large-sized brown dog with short hair and was wearing a white/yellow collar.
An investigation is being carried out by the health unit to see if the dog has its up-to-date rabies shots if the dog isn’t found the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
