Equal Voice is looking for 338 young women to take over Parliament Hill.
Their initiative, Daughters of the Vote, is running for the second time in April 2019 and each federal riding across the country will be represented by a woman between the ages of 18 and 23.
Applications are now open with the deadline set for November 22.
Equal Voice Executive Director Nancy Peckford says the experience will be valuable.
“They will hear from elected women and men, all party leaders, they’ll get a chance to meet their own members of parliament and they’ll also hear from other organizations, our private sector partners and leaders in the community.”
Peckford says the three-day program provides a political orientation like none other with the purpose of getting more women involved in politics.
