Huron County OPP searching for suspects after thefts from work site in Clinton

Huron County OPP are hunting for those responsible for stealing thousands of dollars worth of tools in Clinton.

They say sometime between 6 p.m. October 19th and 7:15 a.m. October 22nd, a suspect or suspects broke into a company work van that was parked on Cutter Street in Clinton.

Once inside, police say those responsible found and stole numerous power tools and hand tools.

Police say some of the Dewalt brand stolen tools include a framing gun, jigsaw, two skill saws, impact drill, sawzall, and a job site radio.

In total, the items stolen are estimated to be worth around $7 thousand.

Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
