Outrage continues to be heard over transfer of Terri-Lynne McClintic

Outrage continues to be heard from many over the transfer of one of the killers of an 8-year-old Woodstock girl to an Indigenous healing lodge.
On Saturday, hundreds of protesters gathered outside a courthouse in Woodstock to voice their anger over Terri-Lynne McClintic being moved from a federal prison in Ontario to a healing lodge in Saskatchewan.
McClintic pleaded guilty to the first-degree murder of Tori Stafford who was kidnapped, raped, tortured and murdered in 2009 by McClintic and her boyfriend Michael Rafferty.
McClintic was sentenced to life in prison but in September Stafford’s family learned that she had been moved to the healing lodge.
Oxford Conservative MPP Ernie Hardeman was among those in attendance on Saturday.
A federal report on the transfer is expected to be released to the public in the near future.
The protest in Woodstock on Saturday follows a similar protest on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on Friday.
