There’s a big change at the top of the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce.
The Stratford Beacon Herald reports that Brad Beatty has resigned as general manager to take a position as a part owner of Blue Branch, a Hamilton-based recruitment and logistics company.
Beatty was reelected in the recent municipal election as a councilor in Stratford and he was on a leave of absence from July to November as he ran for the position.
He will be remaining with the chamber through the process of hiring a new general manager and he’s been with the chamber since 2015.
The general manager position has been posted but it’s expected that a new hire won’t start in the position until early next year.
