Driver In Fatal Collision In Zorra Township Identified

Police have identified the man killed in a collision in Zorra Township over the weekend.

They say they were called out to the 19th Line, between Road 66 and 17th Line, around 11 o’clock Saturday night after a grey-coloured vehicle drove off the road, hit a hydro pole and then collided with a tree.

A passenger in the back seat was ejected from the vehicle and both the driver and a front seat passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital and he’s been identified as 21-year-old Ty Waller from Ingersoll.

Police say the two passengers are still in the hospital with undetermined injuries.

Speed and alcohol are being considered as factors in the collision by police.
