Stratford Transit workers have a new three year deal with a raise.
At their meeting Monday night, Stratford City Council agreed to a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 636 which represents the workers.
The agreement is effective from May 1st, 2018 to April 30th, 2021 and it has been ratified by members of the Local 636.
The terms of the agreement will see employees receive a yearly average increase of approximately 1.7 percent.
