Stratford Fire Chief Richard Young is retiring.
Before last night’s city council meeting CAO Ron Shaw read a letter from the chief announcing his decision.
Chief Young tells us about a few of the things he’s proud of doing during his time as chief:

Shaw then praised Young, saying he was leaving “big shoes to fill”.
Young’s last official day on the job will be September 30th.
