MacDonald, Joan

Joan MacDonald passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday June 28, 2014 at her home in Milverton. She was born 63 years ago in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Stan & Ruth (Alles) Cosstick.

Beloved wife of Allan MacDonald whom she married December 4, 1970. Loving mother of Jamie & Angele MacDonald of Cambridge, Greg & Lisa MacDonald of Grand Blanc, MI, Cheryl & Jeff Hunt of Stratford and Scott MacDonald of Milverton. Dear and proud grandmother to Matthew, Joshua, Kyle, Zachary, Natalie, Owen, Devan and Abby. Dear sister of Betty Clifford of St. Marys, Ken Cosstick of Milverton, Tom & Joanne Cosstick of Stratford, Ron Cosstick of Rockwood . Remembered by her mother-in-law Hilda MacDonald of Milverton and sisters-in-law Brenda & Alfie Vaughan of Point Clark, Betty & Peter Beaman of Lucknow and a number of nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her brother-in-law Joe Clifford and father-in-law George MacDonald.

Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Tuesday July 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will be held onWednesday July 2, 2014 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Milverton at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
