Three people from London killed in collision near Listowel

A two-year-old boy is recovering in hospital and three people from London are dead after a crash near Listowel.
Around 6:30 Friday night, first responders say they were called out to the scene of a collision between a sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer northwest of Listowel at the intersection of Perth Road 178 and Perth Line 88/Fordwich Line.
Once on scene, police say first responders located a heavily damaged SUV and a tractor-trailer just east of the intersection with the driver and two passengers in the SUV pronounced dead at the scene.
They have been identified as 60-year-old Walter Yetman, 58-year-old Donna Yetman and 28-year-old Stephanie Roloson, a 4th passenger, the two-year-old boy was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the driver of the tractor-trailer wasn’t hurt.
Police say a preliminary investigation has determined that the SUV was northbound on Perth Line 88/Fordwich Line when it collided with the tractor-trailer as it was crossing eastbound through the intersection.
An investigation into what lead to the collision continues.
