Stratford Police: No injuries after elderly driver strikes Tim Horton’s drive-through sign

An elderly woman escaped without injuries after her vehicle struck the sign at the drive-through of a Stratford Tim Hortons.

Stratford Police tell MyStratfordNow.com that the collision happened Thursday afternoon when the woman hit the gas pedal instead of the brake at the restaurant on Ontario Street.

They say the burst of speed caused the vehicle to drive over the top of the curb and strike the sign.

No other vehicles were in the drive-through lanes at the time of the collision.
