The City of Stratford has appointed an Acting Chief Administrative Officer.
Joan Thomson has been appointed to the role as current CAO Rob Horne prepares to retire at the end of July.
The decision was made at a special Stratford City Council meeting Wednesday night.
Thomson has been with the City of Stratford for more than 30 years and has served in a series of progressive roles before being named as City Clerk in 1999.
She will serve in the role of Acting CAO until the CAO position has been filled.
