Wilhelm, Florence Alice

Florence Alice Wilhelm, age 85, of Stratford, passed away at Hillside Manor surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 26, 2019. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy (Barber) Player. Loving wife of the late Walter Wilhelm, whom she married on June 4, 1955 and who predeceased her on October 24, 2001.  Loving mother of Cathy Davidson and her husband Steve, and Vicki Player and her husband John.  Proud grandmother of Becky Kopysh and her husband Mike, Pamela Davidson (Brandon Johnson), Kim Davidson (Jason Greenberg), Lisa Player, Mark Player, Greg Player and his wife Sara. Great grandmother of Carter and Declan Kopysh. Florence will be fondly remembered by her siblings; Albert (Ab) Player and his wife Sharon, and Mary Black and her husband Roger along with the entire Wilhelm Family and Florence’s many nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral services are private and will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
