Swimming no longer allowed at Wildwood Conservation Area because of bacteria

Cross the Wildwood Conservation Area off the list of places to take a dip.

Officials say the beach in the area is now closed for swimming, until further notice, because of high levels of bacteria.

The bacteria can pose a risk to your health.

The good news is that you can still watch a sunset by the lake.

You’re also invited to hike, picnic, or do many other things in the conservation area.
