Cupskey, Doris

Doris Cupskey of Monkton passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of Gord Cupskey whom she married in 1954.  Loving mother of Ron and Mary, Laverne, Diane and Dennis Simpson, Paul and partner Darlene, Pauline Taylor, Colleen and Dave Scott, Debbie and Craig Dufton, Bruce, Doug and Cauline.  Special grandma of 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Marie Hiltz and Joyce Yundt.  Also loved by Mike and Terry Duncan and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Jim and Kate Duncan, son-in-law Terry Taylor, daughter-in-law Beth Young, brothers Delford and his wife Donna Duncan, Kenny Duncan, brothers-in-law Brian Hiltz and John Yundt.

In keeping with Doris’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  A memorial service to celebrate Doris’ life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton on Saturday July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Thompson officiating.  Interment in ElmaCentreCemetery, Atwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton, Elma Logan Arena Building Fund or Canadian Diabetes Association appreciated by the family.
