Don’t be surprised if you see white fire hydrants popping up in your neighbourhood.
The City of Stratford says it’s continuing with its hydrant repainting program, which began last fall.
The program will see every hydrant in the city repainted over a three-year period to meet the National Fire Protection Agency colour code.
Hydrants will receive a surface preparation, a primer coat, and a final coat with the white colour the primer coat and the final coat being yellow.
