Maddess, Wilma

Wilma Maddess – formerly of Milverton, passed away peacefully at Cedarcroft Retirement Home, Stratford on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late George Maddess who predeceased her in 2002.  Loving mother of Jean and Clayton Baillie, Jim Maddess (deceased 1980) and Monique, Wayne Maddess, Don and Pam Maddess, Marilyn Maddess and Jerry Ropp, and Bob Maddess (deceased 2017).  Grandmother of Trevor (deceased 2017) and Candice, Jeff and Bonnie, Michael, Cassidy and Jeannette, Kevin and Cathy, Amy, Jennifer and Todd, Kimberly and Jennings and several great-grandchildren.  Sister of Joe Gummow and sister-in-law of Barb Gummow.  Remembered and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Roy and Florence Gummow, great-grandson Cole, brother Jack, sister Wilda and her husband Lorne Rennick and sister-in-law Betty Gummow.

Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Sunday September 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday September 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating.  Interment in Donegal Cemetery.
