Voter information cards in the mail

As the federal election draws closer, voter information cards are in the mail.

Elections Canada says they are mailing a personalized voter information card to each registered elector with the card containing information about when and where to vote and accessibility of polling stations.

If you’re registered to vote and don’t get your card by Friday, or if your card has the wrong information on it, you can contact your Elections Canada office.

You can click here to register or update your voting information.

When you go to vote, you must show proof of your identity and your address.

You can use your voter information card as proof of your address but you also need to have a piece of accepted ID which can be your driver’s license or any other card issued by a Canadian government with your photo, name and current address.

Election day is October 21st.
