Perth East is on the receiving end of a financial boost from the province to help enhance the lives of seniors.
The funding, over $7-thousand, is coming from a Seniors Community Grant and Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says it will be used to help run a Seniors Lunch and Learn Program.
Offered by Perth East, the program offers a social setting for seniors to take part in an educational session while enjoying a meal.
The program is one of 260 projects across Ontario and part of a $3-million government investment.
