Perth County OPP investigating after excavator that was stolen near Shakespeare turns up near Hamilton

An investigation is underway after police say an excavator worth roughly 200-thousand dollars was stolen in Perth County.

Police say the machine went missing from a rural construction site near Shakespeare on Monday.

They say they found it again after searching a property near Hamilton, but have not made any arrests in the case.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward
