Changes coming to Forman Avenue and Oakdale Avenue intersection

Come next week, there will be one fewer crossing guard in Stratford.

Starting next Monday, the crossing guard stationed at the pedestrian crossover on Forman Avenue and Oakdale Avenue will no longer be in place.

Drivers are being reminded to stop behind the yield line when pedestrians want to cross, make eye contact with those walking in the area and wait until they completely cross the road.

Meanwhile, pedestrians are being reminded to push the button at the cross over, wait for traffic to stop both ways and make eye contact to ensure drivers see you.
