The hunt is on for a dog that officials say bit someone in Stratford.
It happened around 9:20 Tuesday night at the corner of Caledonia Street and Mornington Street with the animal described as a large black dog, similar to a border collie.
The Perth District Health Unit says the female walking the dog on a leash said she wasn’t the owner.
They are searching for the dog to check if it has its up-to-date rabies shots.
If the dog isn’t found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
