Windy day in store for Wednesday

It’s going to be a windy day in the area.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement with strong southeasterly winds followed by strong southwesterly wind gusts expected Wednesday.
Strong southeasterly winds gusting 70 km/h are expected to develop in the morning with the winds then expected to change to southwesterly early in the afternoon with gusts of 70 to 80 km/h.
The weather agency says the winds will ease Wednesday evening but they could toss loose objects around or cause tree branches to break.
These strong winds are the result of a low pressure system moving over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay late Wednesday.
