Police in Woodstock says a firework caused a fire at a home in the city.
Around 2 o’clock New Year’s Day morning, police were called to a home on Springbank Avenue about a fire there.
It’s believed those responsible threw a firework at the home which set a window screen on fire.
The homeowner suffered minor injuries and police currently have no suspects.
