Phyllis Marion DeVeulle age 86 years passed away peacefully with her husband Clarence at her side at Exeter Villa, Exeter, on Friday January 10, 2020. She was born in Stratford daughter of the late Kenneth and Pearl (Chowen) Roney. Phyllis had lived in Hibbert Twp until the age of 16 and in Stratford for 40 years before moving to Bayfield in 1989 and to Ilderton in 2007. She had been a bookkeeper at Waldies Hardware and later a Secretary at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival until 1988. She is survived by her husband Clarence DeVeulle whom she married September 23, 1950 at St. Johns United Church. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Russell Roney and sisters Jean and Rhea. A private family burial will be held at Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice and may be made through the W. G.
