Stratford City Council moves ahead with renewable natural gas project

Stratford City Council has given the green light for the city’s wastewater treatment plant to produce renewable natural gas.
At a meeting Monday night, council voted to tentatively go forward with the plan to turn waste products and organic waste into natural gas.
It’s not yet known how big the project could turn out to be in the long run.
City staff have been asked to look into the best way to produce the gas and they will report back to council in the future.
